From birth we are influenced by others, pulling us one way or another. Doing good things on one side and bad on another. Some believe we end up in heaven or hell, I think we all end up in the same place. There is no afterlife.

Whoops, 2 weeks since I last posted, how time flies. I'm not sure if anyone is even paying any attention to my blog but I still should be posting more regularly. Anyway here is my new piece, inspired like my last one by current events in Irag.

I watched an interesting program recently about how oil is bought and sold in US dollars and how Iraq decided they were going to sell in Euros. Shortly afterwards America and Britain invaded. Now the scary thing is, Iran is planning to sell in Euros later in the year, so let's see what happens to them.

Capitalism + Fear = Fascism

This is my latest piece 'Capitalism + Fear = Fascism'.

Terrorism has forced America and Israel to act like Fascists. Take a look at what makes a Government a Facist Government and you will see America and Israel. Look at the definition of Capitalism next to Fascism and you will see the similarities, add fear to Capitalism and it (sometimes, not always) can become Fascism. This image is not anti America, anti Israel or pro terrorism but it is anti war.

Take a look if you are an artist or designer of any sort. I agree with a lot of what this guy has to say and you'll find it very interesting and good advice.

The weekend is here again and this is only my second post this week, slap me hard but I've not had much to say. I don't suppose many people have found my blog yet anyway, hopefully soon it will appear on the search engines.

Here's another of my images 'Depression' from 1994 this time. Painted around the time of Kurt Cobain's death and very much inspired by that event. I saw Nirvana live 3 times and felt very sad that someone was in that much pain they had to take their own life. The text used in the image 'better to burn out than to fade away' comes from Kurt's suicide note and was originally a line from a Neil Young song. The line 'help me I am in hell' comes from a Nine Inch Nails song. They released The Downward Spiral in 1994, I guess '94 was a pretty depressing year.
